Cross Country Team wins 2nd in State Meet
On Monday, October 24, the West Memphis Christian Cross Country team traveled to Clinton, MS, to compete in the MAIS overall state cross country track meet which was held at Choctaw Trails at Mississippi College. WMCS girls took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the girls’ run with senior, Abbey Dixon winning 1st; eighth grader, Lauren Pike earning 2nd; and senior, McKenzie Pike winning 3rd.
The girls’ track team won 2nd in this MAIS overall state cross country meet. Other team members were senior, Morgan Dickson and freshman, Brianna Ham. Abbey, Lauren, and McKenzie were selected all-conference for MAIS.
Elementary Celebrates the Fall with Fest
Elementary students celebrated fall with a petting zoo and hayride.
Robotics ready for competition
The WMCS Robotics Team will compete in the regional competition in December.
